Frog Flag

It's spirit week at Shaker Road School, and each class is on an Olympic team, requiring a flag. Sophie's team's mascot is a frog, so the kids designed a flag and I was asked to make it. Truly, an honor. I used scraps of white polyester left over from the oompa loompa costumes, (more on that another day,) and stash, but I had to buy some dark greens for lily pad and frog. I had very little solid dark green, but now I have three in the stash. If you can't see it, the flies have an iridescent organza layered on white felt to make a shimmer. I had a lot of joyful moments while making this.
